Residents in Charlotte County are being encouraged to test their homes for radon – an invisible, odourless gas that is the leading cause of lung cancer in non-smokers.
“Radon really is everywhere and we can’t predict which houses will have elevated levels, so everybody should be testing,” said Pam Warkentin, executive director of the Canadian Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists (CARST). Read more in The Courier.
